The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) has announced plans to hold its 56th International Conference and Exhibition (ICE) this October. The event, themed “Managing People and Businesses for Resilience,” aims to bring together HR professionals and thought leaders from across Africa to discuss strategies for navigating the complexities of today’s evolving business landscape.
Kennedy Dike, chairman of the planning committee and President of the CIPM Governing Council, emphasized the importance of the event for HR leaders in addressing economic challenges. “To succeed in uncertain times, organizations require flexible and effective HR practices,” Dike noted. “This conference provides an excellent platform for HR practitioners to acquire actionable insights and tools to foster resilience within their teams and businesses.”
The conference, taking place at the Chida Event Centre, is the largest HR-focused gathering in Africa. It will feature keynote presentations, expert panel discussions, interactive workshops, and exhibitions showcasing cutting-edge HR technologies and solutions.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with peers and explore the latest innovations shaping the future of HR management. The event promises to deliver a rich array of learning experiences tailored to helping professionals enhance both individual and organizational resilience.
