On October 21st, 2023, Meadow Hall in Lagos transformed into a vibrant hub of sportsmanship and camaraderie as the second edition of Startup Cup unfolded.
The 7-a-side tournament witnessed intense competition among leading tech companies, including EightMedical, Spurt!, Moniepoint, Qore, Shuttlers, OmniRetail, Grey, and TradeDepot. Each team showcased exceptional skills and unwavering determination on the field.
In a thrilling display of athletic prowess, EightMedical emerged victorious, dethroning the reigning champions, TradeDepot. Moniepoint secured a commendable third-place finish.
Beyond the top three positions, the tournament celebrated a diverse range of achievements. Awards were presented for the most enthusiastic supporters, the top goal scorer, the Man and Woman of the Tournament, and the best goalkeeper, emphasizing that excellence extends beyond the final score.
