PwC Nigeria has officially inducted three distinguished professionals as partners, effective July 1, 2024. The new partners include Marilyn Obaisa-Osula, Taiwo Oyaniran, and Tim Siloma, each bringing a wealth of expertise in critical areas such as consulting, assurance, and tax services.

This announcement aligns with PwC Africa’s broader strategy, which saw the admission of 15 new partners across the continent, with 40% being women. This milestone reflects the firm’s commitment to fostering gender equity and strengthening leadership diversity.

Meet the New Partners

Marilyn Obaisa-Osula (Consulting & Risk Services)

Marilyn leads PwC’s efforts in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Climate Change across West Africa. Her expertise lies in guiding organizations through transitions to sustainable economies, including Green, Circular, and Blue frameworks.

With over 15 years of experience, Marilyn has delivered impactful projects across diverse sectors such as agriculture, FMCGs, pharmaceuticals, public administration, and energy. Her academic credentials include a certificate in Business Sustainability from the University of Cambridge and a master’s degree in Public and Development Management from South Africa’s University of Witwatersrand.

An accomplished chartered accountant and sought-after speaker, Marilyn’s passion lies in fostering societal impact and Africa’s sustainable development.

Taiwo Oyaniran (Assurance)

A seasoned chartered accountant, Taiwo spearheads PwC Nigeria’s Agribusiness Services and engagements with international donor agencies. His commitment to quality and ethical practices has earned him recognition within PwC, where he also serves as Lead Ethics Officer for the West Africa region.

Taiwo’s expertise spans consumer and industrial products, ensuring seamless service delivery to clients. As a partner, he plans to expand PwC’s market footprint in agribusiness and related sectors while mentoring future leaders in the profession. A devoted family man, Taiwo exemplifies integrity and dedication.

Tim Siloma (Tax & Regulatory Services)

With over 15 years at PwC, including 11 years of international experience, Tim is a trailblazer in Tax Reporting and Strategy. His contributions to enhancing tax systems for revenue authorities through innovative solutions in processes and technology have been transformative.

Tim’s academic background includes an LLB from the University of Nairobi and certifications from Strathmore Business School. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, CPA-K, and an associate member of ICAN and CITN. Outside work, Tim is an avid golfer, channeling his competitive spirit into both sports and professional excellence.
