Lagos, Nigeria, will once again host the prestigious DEMO Africa event, providing a platform for 40 of the most innovative startups across the African continent to showcase their groundbreaking technologies. Scheduled for September 24th and 25th at the Eko Hotel and Suites, the event will bring together leading innovators, investors, and industry experts.
The Nigerian government, through the Ministry of Communication Technology and the National Information Technology Agency, is actively supporting the event, recognizing its significance in fostering innovation and driving economic growth.
“DEMO Africa provides a crucial platform for young Nigerian and African entrepreneurs to showcase their creativity and innovation to the world,” stated Dr. (Mrs.) Omobola Johnson, Minister of Communication Technology.
Building on the success of the previous year, DEMO Africa 2015 will feature a diverse program, including an investor roundtable, the LIONS@FRICA Summit, and a dedicated bootcamp for aspiring entrepreneurs. Applications for the event will open in late February, with a panel of esteemed judges selecting the 40 most promising startups.
