Imasuen Izoduwa, the CEO of Ughoron Real Estate Company, recently met with Edo State’s Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, to discuss a proposal aimed at enhancing security in the state. The plan involves constructing a new police station in the Uhie Community, located along the Sapele Road area, which has been grappling with rising crime and violence in recent months.
During the meeting, Izoduwa extended his congratulations to Commissioner Adegboye on his new appointment and praised his commitment to serving the people of Edo State. The CEO explained that the establishment of a police station would significantly improve security in the region, reassuring both local residents and potential investors. He emphasized that many Nigerians living abroad have been hesitant to return home due to concerns over safety, and the proposed station could alleviate some of these fears, encouraging investment and boosting community morale.
Ughoron Real Estate, founded in 2019 by Izoduwa, has been steadily expanding its presence in the real estate market. The company’s flagship project, Ere Royal Estate, located in Benin City, was unveiled in December 2022 and quickly set a new standard for luxury living in the area, offering world-class amenities and a peaceful environment.
Beyond its developments in Benin City, Ughoron is expanding to the nation’s capital with the launch of Ogbe Court, a more compact estate modeled after Ere Villa. The company is also garnering attention with Ere Royal Court in Abuja, which has already begun to gain popularity for its upscale features. Additionally, Ughoron’s portfolio includes Ise Estates, a series of residential developments that marked the company’s entry into the real estate market.
The proposal to build the police station is part of Ughoron’s broader commitment to improving the security of communities in which it operates. By providing a safer environment, the company believes it will encourage both domestic and foreign investment in the region.
Commissioner Adegboye acknowledged the CEO’s patriotic gesture, noting that a new police station would go a long way in addressing the growing security concerns in the area. The Commissioner also pointed out the urgent need to modernize the existing waiting room at the station, highlighting that the current facility was outdated and in dire need of renovation.
It is worth mentioning that Commissioner Adegboye took office as Edo State’s Commissioner of Police in December 2023, succeeding CP Mohammed Dankwara. His appointment marks a new chapter in the state’s law enforcement efforts, with a focus on enhancing security and public safety.
