Innovest Afrika Launches Accelerator Program to Support Nigerian Startups

Innovest Afrika, a leading startup accelerator, has launched the Innovest Ignite Lagos program to empower early-stage Nigerian startups with the resources they need to succeed. Developed in partnership with Techpoint Africa, the program offers a comprehensive curriculum, mentorship from industry experts, and access to potential funding opportunities.

The six-week accelerator program culminates in a Demo Day in Lagos, where participating startups will pitch their ventures to a curated audience of investors and industry leaders. Up to ten startups will be selected for the program, with the top performers eligible for equity investments of up to $20,000.

Innovest Afrika, founded by Femi Moito, aims to support 5,000 African-founded startups by 2030. This initiative aligns with the company’s mission to foster innovation and empower entrepreneurs across the African continent.

The Innovest Ignite Lagos program is designed to support founders building high-impact businesses that address critical societal challenges. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong entrepreneurial drive, possess deep domain expertise, and be building scalable solutions with the potential for significant social and economic impact.

By providing access to funding, mentorship, and invaluable industry connections, the Innovest Ignite Lagos program aims to empower a new generation of successful Nigerian startups and contribute to the continued growth of the country’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.
