Major Outsourcing Firm Invests Heavily in Kenyan Job Market

A leading international outsourcing company, CCI Global, has made a substantial commitment to Kenya’s economy with the launch of a state-of-the-art call center in Tatu City. This five-story facility, representing a $50 million investment, is poised to create over 5,000 new jobs for Kenyan citizens.

The opening of this center, CCI’s 17th globally, signifies a significant milestone in the company’s expansion across Africa. It follows successful ventures in other African nations, including South Africa, Egypt, and Ethiopia, and underscores CCI’s dedication to fostering economic growth and empowerment within the region.

Kenyan President William S. Ruto officially inaugurated the facility, emphasizing its potential to position Kenya as a leading hub for international business process outsourcing (BPO) services on the African continent.

Beyond job creation, this initiative aims to equip Kenyan workers with valuable skills for the global BPO market. Partnerships with organizations like CareerBox Africa will play a crucial role in providing unemployed youth, particularly women, with the necessary digital training to thrive in this sector.

Furthermore, CCI Global demonstrates its commitment to sustainability by powering the new call center with 96% renewable energy, aligning with Kenya’s environmental goals. This investment highlights the company’s broader vision to contribute to the socioeconomic development of the region while minimizing its environmental impact.
